Online Registration Begins for 16th International Operation Lifesaver Symposium & Training Seminars

WASHINGTON, DC, March 18, 2010 - Online registration is now available for Navigating Rail Safety - It's Common Sense! the 16th International Operation Lifesaver Symposium & Training Seminars, to be held August 30-September 1, 2010 in Baltimore, Maryland.

Operation Lifesaver, Inc. (www.oli.org) the national, nonprofit rail safety education organization, holds the Symposium every two years to bring the latest information on improving safety around tracks and trains to its volunteers and safety partners. Three hundred registrants, speakers and guests are expected at this year’s Symposium, which will be held at the Hyatt Regency Baltimore Inner Harbor.

“Operation Lifesaver’s dedicated volunteers and safety partners are passionate about reducing vehicle-train collisions and pedestrian rail trespass incidents through what we call the ‘3 E’s’ - Education, Engineering and Enforcement,” notes OLI President Helen M. Sramek.
