Please join us for Navigating Rail Safety - It's Common Sense! the 16th International Operation Lifesaver Symposium and Training Seminars, August 30 - September 1, 2010, at the Hyatt Regency in Baltimore, Maryland.

HOTEL INFORMATION

This AAA Four-Diamond Inner Harbor hotel offers a home base from which to explore Baltimore's downtown, including Camden Yards, the National Aquarium and other local attractions. The Operation Lifesaver group room rate is $139.00/night, single or double occupancy, $189.00/night triple, and $214.00/night quadruple, plus applicable taxes and fees.

AIRLINES

Baltimore-Washington International (BWI) Airport is a Southwest Airlines hub.

AMTRAK

Amtrak will provide certified OL presenters with complimentary coach transportation to and from the 2010 Symposium. Only certified OL volunteers (not family members, unless they also are certified OL volunteers) are eligible. To reserve your seat, call 1-800-USA RAIL, plan
your trip and get a confirmation number (but do not make payment). Then, e-mail Alvin Richardson (richara@amtrak.com) OR Jewel Pickett (picket@amtrak.com) with your confirmation number. Questions? Call Alvin at 202-906-3434 (ATS 777-3434), cell 202-494-0768. To be eligible for the complimentary Amtrak coach travel, you must make reservations
and send the information to Alvin or Jewel by June 30, 2010.


PROGRAM OVERVIEW

This leadership conference will be packed with helpful information, inspiring speakers, and refresher training for key highway-rail safety and trespass prevention officials.

Online registration will again be available by mid-March of 2010. Attendees may register for the Symposium with our secure online system using a major credit card. Attendees may also register by mail by submitting a completed registration form and a check or money order. Registration brochures will be emailed in the coming weeks, and will be posted on the www.oli.org website.
